  • Monday: math book module 3 lesson 9 homework pages 49-50
  • Wednesday: solve problem on loose-leaf or graph paper.
  1. Julia wants a bike that costs $100. She needs to save $25 more to have enough money to buy it.  How much money does Julia already have?

Math Homework:
  • Monday: math book module 3 lesson 1 and 2 homework pages
  • Wednesday: Look in your notebook for todays' lessons  and sample problems. Then, solve the  problem below on loose-leaf or graph paper.
  • problem:  Lisa used a total of 32 cups of flour to bake some bread. She used 8 cups of flour for each loaf of bread.  How many loaves of bread did she bake? Represent the problem using multiplication and division sentences and a letter for the unknown. Then solve the problem.

  3. There are 400 children at Park Elementary School. Park High School has 4 times as many students. a. How many students in all attend both schools? b. Lane High School has 5 times as many students as Park Elementary. How many more students attend Lane High School than Park High School?
