REPORT CARD CONFERENCE!!

The report card conference s being held this Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. Parents are instructed to first see their child's homeroom teacher to pick up their report cards. Parents must have report cards first before signing up to speak with the other departmental teachers. Understand that each individual conference will be limited to 5 minutes. If more time is required then you may schedule an appointment for a later date and time, through the office. We would like to allow an equal opportunity for every parent to speak with each teacher. This policy will provide that opportunity.

These are last weeks words. No new words this week. This Friday is the second semester vocabulary test. The test will include words and definitions from the second semester.

Mid-Year Exams!!!

Mid year exams begin next week. The schedule of exams are as follows:

• Science: Tuesday, 1/10
• Math: Friday, 1/13

Students should review notes from September through December, including labs, special projects and/or activities conducted within this time frame. The related chapters have been provided below along with link to the actual unit tests.

Please note that the unit tests should be used as the main study guide for students. Students have been receiving and correcting their unit test in the classroom. They have been instructed to take them home to study and practice.

***** Today students received and reviewed Unit 1 tests for correction in preparation for the mid year exams coming up next week. Unit 2 will be distributed tomorrow for review and corrections. Students are to keep their unit tests and use them as the principle study guide for the mid year exams.


*** Tomorrow grades 3 and 4 will be having gym. Please remember to wear gym uniforms.
