Christmas Break assignments!!!!

Grade: 2 -Math textbook pages 123-124 and 131-132.

Grade: 3 -Math skills link workbook pages 4-5 and 12-13 on graph paper.
-Science: read scholastic magazine answer all questions from back cover on loose-leaf. Select one article write main idea and three supporting details.

Grade: 4 -Math read both DynaMath magazines. Solve all problems presented from each page and write answers in the space that is provided. The problems on the back cover must be solved and answered on separate sheet of paper.
-Science: students are to research there three questions from class in preparation for the Science Fair. This years's theme is Life Science. The textbook covers topics in this category in Units A and B.

Christmas show update!!!!

Weekly vocabulary update!!!!!!!!!!

Beginning In January after the Christmas Break, vocabulary words will be given for Homework on Monday and due the following day on Tuesday for review. The assignment will require all students to copy words and their definitions from the teachers' blog and into their vocabulary notebook. If internet access is limited or none then The school will provide internet access after dismissal from 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. so, that everyone has a fair opportunity to obtain their vocabulary words.

Unit 2 Test announcement

Next week unit 2 test will be administered to all students.

The math unit 2 test will be held on Monday 12/12 and the Science unit 2 test will be administered on Thursday 12/15.

Christmas Show!!!!!!!!

The fourth and third grades will be participating together in this years Christmas show. As stated on this months calendar The show will be held on Monday December, 19 at 5: 00 p.m.

The fourth grade outfits are as follows

• girls: red skirt, green turtle or mock neck top, white stockings and black shoes.
• boys: black pants, black shoes, and red turtle or mock neck tops
