Halloween Party!!!

Dear parents of 4th grade students,

As you know it is that time of year again where ghouls, goblins,wizards,witches, and monsters celebrate their magical existence. It is also the time where we remember and honor all the saints (past and present) that have provided examples of how to love and live a faithful life as Jesus did.
In honoring our beloved saints, the 4th grade will have a Halloween party this Friday afternoon (10/29). Students may come to school dressed in costumes, if not they must wear their uniforms. Please feel free to bring snacks, beverages (no soda), and two bags of candy. One bag is to provide the pre-k and kindergarten with candy as they parade around the school into every classroom. The other is for the students to share amongst themselves at the party.

II. World Water Monitoring day is this Friday, 9/24. The 4th grade along with grades 5 thru 8 will participate by taking a short field-trip to dyckman field park and Swindler's Cove by the Harlem River drive, to conduct a water quality test of the Hudson River and the East River. Field Day: King Tut Exhibition

Dear Parent(s),

A reminder about the 4th grade's filed trip on Monday, June 21st. Students must wear their gym shirts and bring their own lunch and beverages. They may wear jeans or shorts and bring spending money if they would like to buy a souvenir or snacks/beverages.
The Exhibition is being held at the DISCOVERY MUSEUM, located on 44th and 8th avenue. We will be leaving from school at approximately at 8:15 am and returning by or before 2:30 pm for dismissal.

I would like to thank all the children and parents, who participated and volunteered their time on Field Day making sure that it was a fun and safe event.

Folders containing assignments and test for the third quarter are being distributed to the children this week. Please remove all papers and have the children return the empty folders by Wednesday. They will be re-used to file assignments and tests for the fourth quarter.

**Please check to see that your child(ren) have sufficient supplies (pencils, sharpeners, RULERS, loose-leaf, graph paper, notebook). Many children have begun to run out of all or some supplies.
