 week-1:
  1. benchmark:   a known size or amount that helps you understand a different size or amount
  2. common denominator:  a common multiple of two or more denominators
  3. common factor: a number that is a factor of two or more numbers
  4. simplest form: a fraction whose numerator and denominator have only 1 as a common factor
  5. common multiple:  a number that is a multiple of two or more numbers
week-2:
  1. prime number:  a number that has exactly two factors; itself and 1
  2. composite number: a number having more than two factors 
  3. divisible:  when a number can be divided by another number and the remainder is zero
  4. equal groups: groups that have the same number of objects
  5. fraction greater than 1:  a number which has a numerator that is greater than its denominator

 week-1:
  1. glacier:  large mass of ice and snow that moves over land
  2. terminus:  it is the end or outer margin of a glacier
  3. ice age: a long period of very cold temperatures and many glaciers
  4. glacial till: unsorted mixture of rocks that is deposited as a glacier melts
  5. erosion: the wearing away of soil and rock by wind and or water
week-2:
  1. decay:  to rot or decompose
  2. moraine:  rock debris carried and deposited by a glacier
  3. glacial erosion:  the shaping of earth's surface by a glacier
  4. landform:  a feature earth's surface
  5. environment:  everything that surrounds a living thing

1.  weathering: the breaking and wearing away of rock and soil
2. erosion:  the moving of weathered rocks and soil by wind, water , or ice.
3.  mineral: a non-living solid matter from the earth
4. fault: a crack in the earth's crust along which rocks move
5. magma: melted rock that lies deep beneath the earths surface

week-2:
1.  sediments: tiny bits of rocks, shells and other materials
2.  glacier: a large mass of ice that moves
3. igneous: rocks that form from cooled magma
4. metamorphic: rocks that by heat and pressure
5. sedimentary: rocks made from sediments that have been pressed together

1.  moon: earth's nearest neighbor, it is a ball of rock that orbits earth
2.  craters:  large holes
3.  phases: the different shapes of the moon
4.  reflect: when light bounces off of an object
5.  force: a push or pull tha makes something move

week-2:
1.  fossils:  the remains of living things from the past
2.  skeleton:  a full set of bones from an animal
3.  paleontologist: a scientists who studies things that lived long ago in the past
4. extinct:  when a living thing dies out and no more of its kind exist on earth
5.  endangered:  any living thing that is in danger of being extinct
