1. Net: A pattern that can be folded to model a solid figure.

2. Customary system: The measurement system that uses inch, foot, yard, and mile; cup, pint, quart, and gallon; and ounce and pound.

3. Capacity: The amount, usually of liquid, that a container can hold.

4. Average: A quotient derived by dividing a sum by the number of its addends.

5.Pyramid: A solid figure that has a polygon for a base and has triangular faces that meet at a point.

Dear parents,

Folders containing assignments and test for the third quarter are being distributed to the children this week. Please remove all papers and have the children return the empty folders by Wednesday. They will be re-used to file assignments and tests for the fourth quarter.

**Please check to see that your child(ren) have sufficient supplies (pencils, sharpeners, RULERS, loose-leaf, graph paper, notebook). Many children have begun to run out of all or some supplies.

2. DIAMETER: a line that passes through the center of a circle and has both endpoints on the circle
3. ENDPOINT: the point at the end of a line.
4. PERIMETER: the distance around a figure.
