Christmas Break Assignment

Grade 4:

• Math:   Login to ixl.com and practice the following skills for 10 minutes each once a week skills: (A.6, A.9, B.2, B.8, C.2, D.4, E.2, N.9)

• Science: login to Achieve 3000 from the website resources posted on upper left side of blog. Read the article "On Thin Ice" and complete the activities. On loose-leaf write the title and the following words with their definitions; glacial, coastal, percent, and cycle. Also copy and answer the thought question or questions on same loose-leaf. 

Grade 3:

• Math: Login to ixl.com and practice the following skills for 10 minutes each once a week. skills: (C.1, D.1, E.6, E.8, G.1, G.3, I.2)

• Science: login to Achieve 3000 from the website resources posted on upper left side of blog. Read the article "New Spot, For New Species" and complete the online activities. On loose-leaf write the title and the following words with their definitions; habitat, species, and tropical forest. Also copy and answer the thought question or questions on same loose-leaf. 

Grade 2:

• Science: login to Achieve 3000 from the website resources posted on upper left side of blog. Read the article "An Apple A Day" and complete the online activities. On loose-leaf write the title and the following words with their definitions; healthy, expert, stress, disease, patient. Also copy and answer the thought question or questions on same loose-leaf.

Christmas Celebration

Friday, Dec. 18

• Lessons and Carols will be in Church starting at 8:30 am. Join the school community, as students from every grade perform their Christmas songs.

• Christmas Celebration: Grade 4 may dress down or up in Christmas theme colors. We will have small celebration in class during the afternoon. Students are welcomed to bring snacks, treats, beverages and or home lunch since the cafeteria will not be serving lunch. Games and entertainment are also welcomed.
