week-1:
  1. benchmark:   a known size or amount that helps you understand a different size or amount
  2. common denominator:  a common multiple of two or more denominators
  3. common factor: a number that is a factor of two or more numbers
  4. simplest form: a fraction whose numerator and denominator have only 1 as a common factor
  5. common multiple:  a number that is a multiple of two or more numbers
week-2:
  1. prime number:  a number that has exactly two factors; itself and 1
  2. composite number: a number having more than two factors 
  3. divisible:  when a number can be divided by another number and the remainder is zero
  4. equal groups: groups that have the same number of objects
  5. fraction greater than 1:  a number which has a numerator that is greater than its denominator

  1. glacier:  large mass of ice and snow that moves over land
  2. terminus:  it is the end or outer margin of a glacier
  3. ice age: a long period of very cold temperatures and many glaciers
  4. glacial till: unsorted mixture of rocks that is deposited as a glacier melts
  5. erosion: the wearing away of soil and rock by wind and or water
week-2:
  1. decay:  to rot or decompose
  2. moraine:  rock debris carried and deposited by a glacier
  3. glacial erosion:  the shaping of earth's surface by a glacier
  4. landform:  a feature earth's surface
  5. environment:  everything that surrounds a living thing
